The Toronto Maple Leafs announced today that the club has acquired forward Miikka Salomaki from the Nashville Predators in exchange for defenceman Ben Harpur.

Salomaki, 26, has appeared in five games with the Predators in 2019-20, recording a goal. In 41 games with the Milwaukee Admirals (AHL) this season, he has recorded five goals and 10 assists. The Raahe, Finland native has appeared in 167 career NHL regular season games, all with Nashville, and registered 27 points (12 goals, 15 assists), while recording a goal and two assists in 30 Stanley Cup playoff games. Salomaki has registered 88 points (35 goals, 53 assists) in 165 career AHL games, all with the Admirals.
Salomaki was originally drafted in the second round (52nd overall) of the 2011 NHL Draft.
